Staying cool in the summer just got easier, thanks to this new ventilated motorcycle jacket from Weise. This lightweight summer motorcycle jacket features huge mesh ventilated panels, maximising the ventilation without compromising the protection.

Created in a 600D polyester outer construction, the Weise Scout Jacket is designed to be lightweight and comfortable, however the outer material is strong and abrasion resistant, maximising the longevity on your new Weise Jacket as well as offering complete protection from the abrasion typical to that which would be experienced in a slide across tarmac. Backing up the abrasion resistant outer are CE approved armour pads at the back, elbow and shoulder. This strategically placed motorcycle armour is flexible, unobtrusive and fitted to dedicated pockets to ensure that armour is in the right place when you need it most, effectively dispelling impact energy away from these areas. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective piping at the upper shoulders, furthering your visibility without interrupting the minimalist aesthetic of this textile motorcycle jacket.

In addition to the polyester outer construction, large mesh panels at the front, rear and arms of the jacket allow massive amounts of cool air directly into the jacket, keeping you cool as you ride. The inclusion of mesh panelling at the rear of the jacket allows the warm air that builds within your jacket to freely escape while you ride, leaving you cool and fresh when you arrive at your destination.

Comfort is important in a summer textile jacket and the Weise Scout Jacket features various adjustment points in order to make the jacket suit your body shape. At the waist, you’ll find a reliable, easy to use Velcro waist belt system allowing you to tighten the jacket at the waist with a similar Velcro system at the upper arms of the jacket. These adjustment points make it easy to tailor the jacket to suit your shape while reducing the billowing that occurs when riding at speed. Additional Velcro closures at the cuffs allow the wearer to tighten the cuff around your gloves while the Velcro collar makes for quick and easy adjustments. The collar is neoprene trimmed, providing additional comfort at the neck and a welcomed feature for the long-distance rider.

Stitched quilted detailing at the upper arms, shoulders and upper back give a retro appeal to this textile motorcycle jacket, making it appeal to a wide range of motorcycle riders, from classic bike enthusiasts to the naked street bike crowd. At the rear of the jacket and the elbows, you’ll find additional comfort in the form of accordion stretch panelling, ensuring that you aren’t limited by the material by offering a free range of movement, both on the bike and off it.

Storage is a must on any motorcycle jacket; you’ll find two external pockets with zipper closures and two additional internal pockets within the jacket which provide storage space for your essentials such as your phone, wallet, spare keys etc. At the inside of the jacket, you’ll also find a connection zipper to attach the new Weise Scout ventilated jacket to any compatible pair of Weise trousers for the ultimate two piece textile outfit. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac.
