Delivering incredible performance, the robust nylon textile outer construction is flexible for increased comfort and easily withstands the intense abrasion that you may experience in a slide across tarmac. This textile material is dual stitched in key areas that typically experience the most friction in impact scenarios to maximise the strength of the Weise Recon Jacket and keep you protected should the worst occur. Passive protection comes in the form of Reflex reflective detailing, placed in strategic locations around the jacket that help to increase the visibility of the rider when travelling in low light or wet weather conditions where visibility is significantly reduced.

The Weise Recon Jacket is one of the first motorcycle garments to feature a partnership with Re Zro armour. This innovative armour padding is CE approved for your peace of mind and is fitted at the shoulders, elbows and back as standard to ensure you remain protected when you need it most. Re Zro armour offers a huge amount of protection for the rider while providing incredible breathability. You'll hardly even notice the armour fitted within the Recon Jacket thanks to its flexibility and low profile construction, delivering reduced weight and increased rider comfort. What's more, these armour pieces are biodegradable. Re Zro's armour padding has been developed in partnership with Toto-Toa and allows microbes and fungi to enter the molecular structure of the armour in landfill conditions (microbe rich and oxygen depleted environments), breaking down the polymers and returning to zero within 3-5 years.

A waterproof membrane within the Weise Recon Jacket helps to shield your base layers from the wet weather should get you get caught out in a rainstorm on your way home from college, work or anywhere else. This waterproof membrane is microporous, consisting of microscopic holes designed to prevent water from permeating past the membrane but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape, leaving you feeling fresh when you reach your destination. The inclusion of a full length storm flap with press stud fastening that covers the central zipper ensures no moisture penetrates past the central zipper when riding, no matter how hard it rains. You’ll also find a removable thermal interior lining which provides an additional later on insulation when riding in cooler temperatures. This lining can be easily removed with a simple zipper system to leave behind a summer motorcycle jacket with an unmistakably military style.

Thanks to the military styling, the Weise Recon Jacket features large amounts of storage space for your road essentials. Two large zipped exterior pockets are ideal for your wallet, phone, or even a place to keep your hands warm when you reach your destination. You'll also find interior storage pockets as well as multiple smaller exterior pockets that are ideal for toll road change, your keys and more. The large open space at the left chest gives the rider chance to strap a small riding bag to their chest for even greater space for touring riders.
