This laminated motorcycle jacket features a hardwearing 600D outer construction, providing incredible resistance to abrasion in the event of an accident, ensuring that your skin is safe from road surface should the worst occur. This robust outer construction is dual layered at key impact areas to help maximise the resistance to friction at areas which typically suffered heavily in accident scenarios.

The protection in this laminated motorcycle jacket is furthered with the addition of a five-piece armour set. This CE approved armour can be found at the back, shoulders and elbows to help effectively dissipate impact energy at these areas, protecting you if the worst should occur. These armour pads are fitted to dedicated armour pockets and can be easily removed if required. With the level of protection on offer in the Weise Ozark Laminated Jacket, it’s easy to see how the jacket has acquired CE approval to AA standard.

Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing elements within the jacket, designed to improve your visibility when riding in wet weather or other poor weather conditions where visibility may be a concern. These reflective detailing areas accent the jacket but do not interrupt the minimalist styling of the Ozark jacket.

What makes this textile motorcycle jacket different from others in the Weise range is the waterproof lining that is laminated and bonded to the jacket, offering complete waterproofing and locking out any precipitation that you may be caught riding in. The membrane that is bonded to the outer of this laminated motorcycle jacket is not only entirely waterproof and windproof but also breathable, allowing water vapour to escape from within the jacket, leaving you feeling fresh and dry when you reach your destination.

The waterproofing capabilities of this Ozark Laminated Jacket is furthered by the storm channel which covers the central zipper as well as a storm flap, which features the same laminated material to provide complete waterproof protection. You’ll also find a 100-gram quilted thermal liner, offering an additional layer of insulation to the jacket and maximising its usage, letting you ride further into the cooler months of the year with ease. Both these inner linings are removable, leaving you with a lightweight ventilated summer motorcycle jacket. The linings can be rolled up into a compact size and easily stored in a rucksack or pannier and attached with ease should the situation arise.

Ventilation is important in any touring motorcycle jacket, which is why the Weise Ozark Laminated Jacket features ventilation areas at the front and rear of the jacket. These ventilation openings are easily opened and closed with simple zippers and allow cool air to flow into the jacket when riding as well as ensuring the warmer, stale air can efficiently exit the jacket for a complete cooling experience.

The Weise Ozark Jacket features a series of adjustment areas to help tailor the fit and feel of the jacket to suite your unique body shape. With adjustment points at the hips, biceps and forearms, you can easily transform the fit of your jacket and accommodate additional layers beneath your jacket when riding in cold climates, or take up the available space when your thermal lining has been removed.

A large side-entry waterproof rear map pocket makes for the perfect place to store a map, documents or anything else that you may need quick access to our your travels. Within the jacket are two internal storage pockets, ideal for keeping your phone or wallet safe while touring.
