The outer shell of the Weise Sirius 2.0 gloves feature a hybrid leather and textile construction, bringing out the best of both materials. The textile upper is flexible and comfortable for increased comfort when riding in cold weather while the leather palm feels immediately familiar at the handlebars and offers maximum abrasion resistance in an accident scenario.

The leather material is dual layered in the palm to help further the abrasion resistant properties of these winter motorcycle gloves, as well as prolonging the lifespan of the glove by increasing their durability to natural wear and tear. A helpful offering of soft density padding around the glove helps to lessen the impact energy that is transferred to the hands in the event of an accident without interfering with the comfort of the glove.

Beneath the surface is where things get very impressive. A McTex breathable waterproof membrane is included to lock out the worst of the wet weather should you find yourself caught out in a downpour. This waterproof membrane is microporous in its construction, with small holes designed to prevent water ingress into the gloves while allowing water vapour (sweat) to escape from within, leaving your hands feeling fresh when you arrive at your destination.

Additionally, these motorcycle gloves feature an Outlast temperature regulating thermal lining; this NASA developed technology compliments the weather you are riding in by regulating your body temperature, adjusting to your skin’s microclimate and managing the heat by absorbing, storing and releasing heat.

Furthering the temperature aspect lies two different types of official 3M Thinsulate thermal lining, one being slightly thinner at the palm for greater feedback from your machine and reducing the bulk of the gloves where necessary. This insulation layer ensures that your hands remain incredibly warm even in the coolest of climates.

The Weise Sirius 2.0 gloves are constructed with McFit technology. The use of McFit technology eliminates any stitching to the inside of the gloves; this enhances the waterproof capabilities as the liners simply cannot be perforated during manufacture and therefore remain free of imperfections and are absolutely waterproof. Additionally, McFit technology prevents the glove liners from being pulled out with your hands when removing the gloves, as the welding technique of McFit is far more consistent and reliable at securing the liner thoroughly than traditional stitching methods.

Passive protection comes in the form of the reflective detailing found at the back of the fingers and back of the hand. These simple reflective elements help to increase your visibility when travelling in low light conditions. The Weise Sirius 2.0 gloves also feature a visor wipe as standard to help effectively move the water that forms against your visor when riding in wet weather, a must have on any winter motorcycle gloves.

The index fingers of the Weise Sirius 2.0 gloves are touchscreen compatible, meaning that once you’ve got your hands nice and toasty within these winter gloves, you don’t have to remove them to operate your smartphone or GPS navigation system.
