In it's latest incarnation, Suzuki have updated this luxurious maxi scooter; keeping the comfort and convenience of the previous model, but with a slimmer, sharper design for exceptional stability and handling. The new Burgman 400 makes light work of city traffic, but is spacious and comfortable enough for longer distances too.

Improvements include an overhaul of the Burgman 400's design, creating a sharper and slimmer profile that looks stunning on the streets. Brighter, smarter LED lights advertise your presence and a new, streamlined windscreen improves weather protection. Lighter bodywork builds on a tougher frame, for extra stability and easier handling.

The Burgman 400 engine has been revamped too, giving stronger low-to-mid range power and torque. This improves acceleration and responsiveness, helpful for stop-start city traffic or riding two-up. Fuel economy has also been improved, with a low kerb weight and iridium spark plugs for a greater riding range. To help you conserve fuel and get the best out of the engine, an Eco Drive Indicator comes on when you ride most efficiently.

The Burgman 400 provides exceptional comfort over short and long distances.The main upgrade is a slimmer, 20mm thicker seat, bringing a new level of luxury for both rider and passenger. The rider's backrest is adjustable 15mm or 30mm forward, improving support and riding enjoyment on longer journeys. Smart double stitching is another high-end detail.

Capable handling is perfect for manoeuvring around the streets. A new 15 inch front wheel provides a sure and stable footing, with disc brakes front and rear for responsive braking. ABS is there to assist you in tricky conditions.

The Burgman 400 features more than enough storage space for both everyday riding and longer trips. Under the seat, two helmets can be stored in a generous 42L of storage. 6.3L of further space is provided by compartments at the front. One of these features a 12V DC power socket, for charging your mobile devices on the move.

Suzuki have gifted the new Burgman 400 with a comprehensive anti-theft system, giving you greater peace of mind when you leave your scooter parked. SAIS (Suzuki Advanced Immobiliser System) ensures that the engine will not start without your key. The ignition can't be tampered with, as there is a metal shutter over it which only opens with your key.

A multi-function instrument panel keeps you informed on every journey, with indicators including: odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge, coolant temperature indicator, average fuel consumption meter, ambient temperature indicator, freeze indicator and a clock. *T&C's apply.

All new Suzuki motorcycles and scooters registered in 2024 in the UK benefit from a three year warranty (parts and labour) with unlimited mileage.

The three year warranty period consists of the standard two year Suzuki warranty with a one year extension. Vehicles must be registered between 01/01/24 and 31/12/24 to qualify. The bike must be serviced at the recommended intervals by a UK authorized Suzuki dealer, or the warranty will become invalid. Vehicles must be kept in the UK during the warranty extension period.

Once the three year warranty has ended, your Suzuki motorcycle can be registered for Suzuki's Service Activated Warranty. Each time you have a qualifying service carried out an an approved Suzuki motorcycles service centre, you'll receive Service Activated Warranty which carries you through until your next service, until your bike is 7 years old or reaches 70,000 miles (whichever comes first).
