The outer material of the Spada Modena trouser is a hardwearing textile material, designed to withstand the intense friction of accident scenarios while remaining comfortable and lightweight for comfort. Beneath the surface of the Modena Evo trouser is a complete suite of CE Level 1 armour found at the knees and hips which helps to reduce the effect of the impact energy at these critical points. These armour pieces are fitted to dedicated armour pockets that feature a Velcro closure, meaning the armour is removable should you choose to. With the level of protection on offer, it's little wonder that the Spada Modena Evo Trouser has received CE Level AA approval.
The Spada Modena Evo trousers aren't afraid if the wet weather thanks to a fixed waterproof breathable membrane, which stop water from dampening your base layers while remaining breathable to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the trousers. Further breathability comes in the form of twin vents at the thighs, which capture cool air and channel it into the trousers when riding. These vents feature a waterproof zippers, which when closed eliminate any chance of the ventilation areas from becoming a weak point in wet weather.
A seat gripper panel provides greater friction at this area for improved cornering confidence while the reflective details help to improve your visibility when riding in wet weather or poor light conditions.
