The heavy duty wax cotton outer shell of the Spada Crossguard Jacket, designed to withstand the intense friction of motorcycle accident scenarios and keep your skin safe from the road surface, without disturbing the retro appearance. Beneath the surface of the jacket lies dedicated armour pockets which house CE approved armour that helps to effectively dissipate the impact energy away from these key areas. You’ll find CE Level 2 armour included as standard at the back, shoulder and elbows, fitted to pockets that ensures that the protective armour within the Crossguard jacket remains in the right place when it is needed most. These pockets feature a Velcro closure, which makes the armour removable should you choose to.

Within this vintage textile jacket lies a waterproof breathable membrane. This waterproof membrane is rated for 10k/10k in waterproofing and breathability, making the Spada Crossguard Jacket highly waterproof when riding in wet weather scenarios while remaining highly breathable to leave you feeling fresh and dry when you reach your destination. Further wet weather protection comes in the form of the rain channel and storm flap, covering the central closure zipper and eliminating any chance of wind or rain from working their way through the zipper and dampening your base layers.

When the weather isn't so poor, this vintage motorcycle jacket can easily coverted into a breathable summer riding jacket with the use of strategically placed ventilation areas. When opened, these zipped areas turn this textile motorcycle jacket into an ideal summer jacket, channelling cool air into the Spada Crossguard Jacket at the chest and sleeves. This ventilation also continues with a zipped rear vent, allowing warm, stale air to escape from within this textile jacket for a complete cooling experience.

The Spada Crossguard features a wealth of interior and exterior pockets, complete with the same waterproof treatment as the rest of the jacket. This means that your belongings remain safe and dry even in the worst of the weather.
