The Shoei J Cruise 3 offers premium comfort and protection, with updated design, aerodynamics and performance to bring you an incredible open face helmet.

The new Shoei J-Cruise 3 is constructed in the same AIM fibre construction as many other helmets in the Shoei range, from the GT-Air 3 to the NXR2. This AIM outer construction is a combination of organic and multi-composite fibres that are woven together to create a super-strong outer shell. Beneath the AIM outer shell lies a multi-density EPS lining, offering superior impact protection and helping to cushion the effects of a high impact situation by reducing the energy that is transferred to your head.

With three different outer shells, the Shoei J Cruise 3 has a fantastic fit and feel, with a soft premium interior making for a comfortable environment for your head, whether over shorter commutes or long distance trips. The linings of the J-Cruise 3 are fully removable and washable, allowing to prolong the fresh helmet feeling, even with continued use. The inclusion of noise reducing ear pads helps to reduce the ambient noise within the helmet for a quieter ride at all speeds. These ear pads can be removed in order to accommodate the Sena SRL-3 system; designed by intercom giants Sena, the Shoei J-Cruise 3 is prepared to accept the Sena SRL-3 Bluetooth intercom system which fits seamlessly into the helmet. This keeps the sleek, slender appearance of the helmet without interrupting the aerodynamics of the helmet.

The aerodynamic nature of the helmet is designed for comfort and performance. The clear visor features a slight spoiler at the base of the visor, effectively channelling air around the helmet for a smoother riding experience, regardless of the speed you are travelling at. The visor is Pinlock prepared to accept a Pinlock anti-mist insert; these Pinlock inserts are not included as standard but are available to purchase separately. The QSV-2 sun visor can be dropped down and retracted as you see fit and now sits lower than the previous Shoei J Cruise 2, offering more protection from sunlight than ever before.

The biggest improvement to the new J Cruise 3 is ventilation; the inclusion of three air intakes at the crown of the helmet allows huge amounts of cool air into the helmet, with Shoei reporting a 70% increase in the airflow into the Shoei J Cruise 3 helmet while you are riding. Additionally, the inclusion of large ventilation areas provides a slight lift to the helmet when riding, lightening the load on your neck and reducing rider fatigue. The aerodynamic rear spoiler helps to effectively channel air over the helmet when riding, reducing the effect of drag as well as stopping the helmet yawing (turning left to right) if you’re riding at increased speeds.

Finally, the Shoei J-Cruise 3 fastens using a stainless-steel micro ratchet system for quick and easy fastening of the helmet. This stainless-steel ratchet is hard wearing and far more durable than plastic ratchets, ensuring many years of continual use with reflective stitching for increased visibility in low-light conditions.
