RST’s focus on protection is apparent throughout the Tractech Gloves, with a full grain leather outer construction offering a familiar feeling when wearing the gloves that also offers an incredible amount of abrasion resistance. The palm leather is different, with a double layer Kangaroo leather at the palm offering a great amount of feel and flex through the gloves without sacrificing your protection. As if that wasn’t enough, the palms of these leather motorcycle gloves are stitched with Kevlar and feature a Kevlar palm underlay, offering complete protection from abrasion and giving you complete piece of mind when out on the bike, whether it’s a sunny Sunday or a track day.

Despite the incredibly protective nature of the materials used in these leather motorcycle gloves, the RST Tractech Evo 4 gloves feature a robust carbon knuckle protector and accompanying finger joint protection to help protect from impacts at the back of the hand. The carbon knuckle protection also features a memory foam insert at the back of the knuckle, furthering rider comfort without sacrificing protection.

The third and fourth elasticated finger bridge minimises hyper extension to the fingers that could occur as the glove grips the tarmac. To reduce the grab and twist effect when the glove meets the road, the palm has been fitted with a scaphoid protector constructed from reliable race standard TPU. This allows the hand to slide and keep moving, rather than grip the road and stick, allowing the rest of the body weight to transfer to the hand which could cause breaks and/or fractures. Digital palm printing at the palm and forefinger of these motorcycle gloves helps aid grip on the bars, ideal when riding aggressively and hanging off the bike but also a blessing if you find yourself caught out in wet weather.

Despite the high level of protection on offer here, the RST Tractech Evo 4 gloves also offer features designed to increase rider comfort, over both long and short journeys. Pre-curved fingers help to reduce the resistance at the fingers when riding, maximising rider comfort when riding over longer distances. The fingers also include accordion stretch material for further comfort, making for more comfortable braking and gear changes. Additionally, the stitching at the fingers is out-stitched, minimising any irritation from within the gloves and maximising comfort in your new RST gloves.

An elasticated cuff provides a comfortable feeling at the wrist, with a double cuff wrist closure maximising the safety of the glove, ensuring that the glove remains secure in the event of an off and that all the included protection remains in the right place when it is needed most. These closures feature a hardwearing Velcro closure, ensuring that the right fit is achieved every time you ride.
