The RST Pro Series Ranger Jacket and Trouser offered the most comprehensive, hard-wearing motorcycle touring clothing to date, designed for thousands of miles of riding in complete protection and comfort. Now, RST introduce a matching glove into the Ranger family, which easily lives up to the same standards set by the jacket and trouser.

The RST Ranger Gloves features a hybrid textile and leather construction, offering the rider the best of both worlds. Rather than opt for a traditional nylon/polyester blend traditionally found in textile motorcycle gloves, the RST Ranger uses an official Cordura textile outer construction, bringing the very best in abrasion resistance and longevity without compromising on comfort. A full grain leather palm material at the palm provides a naturally hardwearing palm material that feels immediately familiar to many bikers when grasping the handlebars. This leather is dual layered at the palm which not only increases the abrasion resistance at this important area, but maximises the longevity of the glove at an area which is in constant contact with your motorcycle.

RST have partnered with Sympatex for the weatherproof element of the RST Ranger Gloves. Sympatex works in a very different way to the traditional microporous waterproof membranes that are traditionally used in a motorcycle clothing. Sympatex is a three-layer membrane system; the membrane that sits closest to the outer surface is hydrophobic, meaning that it inherently repels water from entering the glove. The layer closest to your hand is hydrophilic, wicking away moisture from your hands as sweating occurs to keep you fresh and dry. The layer sandwiched between these two layers works as a one-way valve to push the sweat and water vapour away from your hand and retain it for evaporation into the outer. The warmer your get, the better the membrane functions as it works to keep you fresh and dry.

Impact protection comes in the form of a hard TPU knuckle protection pad that the back of the hand, which is covered by the same robust Cordura outer material as the rest of the textile upper for a uniform appearance. TPR finger and palm protectors offer additional protection at sensitive areas, included to limit damage done at these areas and speed up recovery times.

The pre-curved fingers make holding onto the grips much easier and limits the rider fatigue that can occur at the fingers when riding for extended periods of time. Perfect for an adventure touring glove. A digital touch material is featured at the forefinger of the index finger on both the left and right hands of the glove. This allows you to operate your smartphone or other mobile device without having to remove your gloves. This is a useful feature when using your smartphone as a sat nav when out on the road. Finally, dual Velcro closures at the cuff and wrist maximise protection by keeping all the protective elements in the right place when they are needed most.
