Created in a premium 11.5 oz denim, the Merlin Cooper Jeans immediately feel familiar to every biker with a relaxed regular fit. The denim has a small amount of stretch built into the material, making them supremely comfortable to ride in whether it's a short ride to a local bike night or touring across the country. Beneath the comfortable denim outer construction lies 180gsm official DuPont Kevlar in zone one critical areas. This incredibly abrasion resistant material is found at the seat, side of the thighs and knees, areas which typically experience the most friction in accident scenarios and help to keep your skin safe from the road surface.

Furthering the protection is the inclusion of Armaknox CE level 1 knee armour fitted as standard to the Merlin Cooper Jeans. These flexible armour pieces helps to limit the transferral of impact energy to your knees in the event of an impact, reducing damage to this area and increasing your recovery times. You'll also find pockets for the inclusion of CE approved hip armour if you choose to add this. A short connection zipper found at the rear of the Route One Cooper Jeans allows the rider to zip compatible jackets into their jeans to additional protection, limiting the chance of the lower back from becoming exposed in the event of a slide. The inclusion of accordion stretch panelling at the rear of these Merlin Jeans ensures that there is no restriction in movement or reduction in comfort when a jacket is zipped into the Cooper Jeans

In keeping with the traditional denim jean appearance, the Merlin Cooper Jeans feature a traditional five pocket design, with two rear pockets and two hip pockets as well as an expanded coin pocket, perfect for storing your road essentials wherever your destination may take you. A comfort mesh inner lining, make for a comfortable soft environment for your legs to spend the day in, helping to separate the skin from the inside of the jean, a welcomed feature for summer riders. The branding on the jean is subtle, with a Route One belt patch at the rear of these motorcycle jeans as well as a Route One logo at the fastening button.
