Created in a hardwearing polyester outer construction, the Merlin Taos Trouser is designed to be lightweight and comfortable, while remaining strong and abrasion resistant. This maximises the longevity on your new Merlin trousers as well as offering complete protection from the abrasion typically experienced in a slide across tarmac.

Backing up the abrasion resistant outer are official D30® tri-vented knee armour pads. This strategically placed motorcycle armour is flexible, unobtrusive and fitted to dedicated pockets to ensure that armour is in the right place when you need it most, effectively dispelling impact energy away from this areas.

In addition to the polyester outer construction, large mesh panels at the front and rear of the trousers allow massive amounts of cool air directly into the trousers, keeping you cool as you ride. The inclusion of mesh panelling at the rear of the trousers allows the warm air that builds within your trousers to freely escape while you ride, leaving you cool and fresh when you arrive at your destination.

YKK zippers through these ventilated trousers are made to withstand continual use for greater durability and many seasons of carefree riding. The waist closure zipper is long in its length, ideal for getting the trousers on and off with ease and is covered by a full-length covering panel with popper closure, keeping the metal zipper away from the tank of your motorcycle. You’ll also find an outside lower leg expansion zipper, making it easier to get these textile motorcycle trousers on and opens wide enough to accommodate a variety of style of motorcycle boots.
