The coolest jacket around, and we’re not just talking about the styling! The Merlin Prospect Air Mesh Textile Jacket is an incredibly lightweight ventilated jacket, offering a protective motorcycle jacket that is perfect for the urban rider and your best friend in the summer months.

The outer construction of the Merlin Prospect vented jacket is a combination of a hardwearing polyester textile fabric and a robust yet brilliantly breathable series of large mesh ventilation panels. The combination of these two materials results in a CE approved, abrasion resistant motorcycle jacket that flows an incredible amount of cool air into the jacket when riding, perfect for those sunny days in the city. The mesh panelling spans much of the jacket, with large panels at the front of the jacket, sides, arms and back, maximising the airflow into the jacket and allowing the air to flow effortlessly out the back.

Within this Merlin vented jacket lie dedicated armour pockets, with CE level 1 Armanox elbow armour and CE level 1 Armanox shoulder armour included as standard. There is also a pocket included for the addition of a D30® approved back protector if you should choose to add one. Passive protection comes in the form of subtle reflective detailing at the collar area, allowing you to remain seen on the bike even when riding after dark, without compromising the minimalist appearance of this vented jacket.

For additional comfort, the Merlin Prospect jacket also includes a soft feel neoprene material at the cuffs and collar, a welcomed feature when riding all day that limits irritation at these areas. This vented motorcycle jacket also features adjustment points at the cuffs, biceps and forearms, allowing you to tailor the fit and feel of the jacket to suit your body shape. These adjustment areas come in the form of a Velcro adjustment belt at the waist and forearms and a popper closure at the upper arms, which allow you to tighten the jacket to reduce billowing at speed. You can also loosen them to help accommodate any additional layers underneath your jacket when riding in the cooler months of the year.

Zipped pockets at the front of the jacket allow for easy storage of any essentials that you may need when out and about in your new vented motorcycle jacket. You’ll also find a connection zipper and Euro hoop strap at the rear of the jacket, allowing you to zip the Merlin Prospect jacket into any compatible trouser in the Merlin range.
