An ideal choice for your summer riding, the Merlin Kaplan Glove keeps things simple and efficient, with airflow as the core principle for the gloves.

A hybrid mesh and textile upper material makes for a lightweight, breathable and flexible motorcycle glove. The mesh material spans the back of the hand down to the wrist, along with the thumb, index finger and middle finger, helping to channel large amounts of cool air into the glove while riding and allowing heat to escape from within the gloves when stationary in traffic. A traditional textile material covers the wrist and back of the knuckles, which feature soft density impact protection padding to help disperse impact energy in the event of an accident. An additional layer of material at the outside of the hand helps to increase resistance to friction in the event of a slide across tarmac.

The palm of the hand features a goat leather material, feeling immediately familiar to bikers everywhere. The use of goat leather helps to increase the flexibility of the glove and reduce the weight for a more comfortable and enjoyable riding experience without sacrificing the protection. The palm features a silicon textured panel at the upper palm to prolong the lifespan of the gloves at an area which is in constant contact with the handlebar grips, as well as increased the level of grip at the handlebars when riding for increased confidence. A digital touch tip at the index finger and thumb of both gloves allows the rider to operate their phone or GPS navigation device when the motorcycle is stationary without having to remove the glove.

Subtle Merlin branding completes the glove with a stitched logo at the back of the hand and a debossed Merlin emblem across the single Velcro cuff closure.
