Bringing the celebrated RPHA series to the open face market, the HJC RPHA 31 delivers a sporty styled open face motorcycle helmet with innovative features that enhance the enjoyment of your next ride.

The Premium Integrated Matrix Evo outer shell boasts a six layer multi-composite outer construction, designed to help reduce the effects of a variety of impacts while retaining a lightweight nature for a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience. This, along with the multi-density EPS, helps keep you safe should the worst occur and easily meets the criteria required for the latest ECE 22:06 helmet standards.

The shell shape of the HJC RPHA 31 helmet is aerodynamic by design, thank to HJC utilising the latest in computing technology to help design this open face helmet. Using a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) program with offers insight and predictions of the behaviour of airflow, HJC have been able to design an incredibly aerodynamic helmet from the ground up, delivering a quieter and smoother riding experience right out of the box.

With two large front facing intake vents, the HJC RPHA 31 channels cool air directly into the helmet while you ride, while the multiple rear exhaust vents channel the warm air out through the rear of the helmet. The addition of the bypass channels and the top of the RPHA 31 mean that air is channel effectively into the vents when open for significantly airflow, but don't interrupt the aerodynamics of the helmet, even at higher speeds.

The new HJC RPHA 31 helmet features a clear outer visor as standard with an anti-scratch treatment to help prolong the lifespan of your visor, granting clearer vision for longer. This visor is also Pinlock ready and features a Pinlock anti-mist insert included in the box as standard. The insert is easily fitted to the visor and helps prevent the misting of the visor for a time, leaving you with uninterrupted vision of the road. Even the visor mechanism has undergone changes on the RPHA 31, with a new two way pivot ratchet system offering a smoother ratchet operation and improved visor sealing. This helps to lock out the wind noise and rain from entering the helmet while riding.

The RPHA 31's outer visor showcases new features never seen before on a HJC helmet. At the base of the visor, you'll find an additional visor wind deflector which can be pulled down by hand. This innovative visor deflector helps to block incoming wind from entering the helmet underneath your visor to suit the individual riders preference and reduce wind noise while riding. You'll also notice an unique visor holding mechanism that opens and closes based on the position of the visor. This sprung loaded visor holding mechanism holds the visor firmly in place when riding at speeds, limiting the effects of wind pressure that cause the visor to move unexpectedly on its base plates, or vibrate when conducting a shoulder check.

A retractable integrated sun visor is included to further your comfort and safety by shielding your eyes from bright sunlight while riding, and is easily deployed with a sliding mechanism at the lower left of the helmet. The position of the sun visor can be adjusted to suit your needs, moving the sun visor forward towards the chin bar of the helmet. This is done via a sliding toggle hidden beneath the left hand recessed cut out and moves the visor from its default position to 5mm further forward or 10mm further forward.

The interior of the HJC RPHA 31 isn’t just simple padding. The interior linings feature three-dimensional padding to offer the best in comfort and a snug yet comfortable fit. These pads feature an anti-bacterial treatment along with superior moisture wicking, drawing water away from your head when sweating and spreading this over a wider area for faster evaporation. The crown pad and cheek pads of the HJC RPHA31 are removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling for longer. Two Wheel Centre recommends hand washing interior linings and allowing to dry naturally to avoid distortion or damage to your interior linings. The interior of the helmet also features recessed speaker pockets and recesses in the outer shell, designed to incorporate the latest in Smart HJC Bluetooth intercom kits.
