Taking the HJC RPHA 11 as inspiration, the HJC RPHA 1 helmet is the ultimate in racing technology from HJC. Designed with feedback from HJC riders in both MotoGP and World Superbikes, the HJC RPHA 1 helmet is ECE 22:06 approved and FIM homologated, maximising your safety on track and offering incredible protection from impacts.

Like its predecessor, the HJC RPHA 1 utilises a Premium Integrated Matrix Plus (PIM+) construction, offering a six-layer multi composite construction which offers the very best from each of the included materials. A combination of fibreglass, carbon fibre and a carbon-glass fabric outer maximises the strength of the outer shell to help protect against different impacts that may occur in a variety of impact scenarios. The PIM+ construction also helps to keep the RPHA 1 helmet incredibly lightweight, furthering the comfort of the RPHA 1 helmet by reducing the fatigue at the head and neck when riding aggressively on track.

The outer shell of this HJC Race Helmet features an aerodynamic profile and is wind tunnel tested for the ultimate in aerodynamic performance, reducing wind resistance and noise when travelling at high speeds on track. This outer shell is offered in four shell sizes, ensuring that your new RPHA 1 helmet is a brilliant, ergonomic fit without any unnecessary padding to interrupt the sizing.

The aerodynamic outer profile helps to channel air efficiently over the helmet, but also harness this airflow into ventilation opportunities. The HJC RPHA 1 helmet utilises the ACS Advanced Ventilation Channeling System to make the most of airflow. Five intake vents found at the front of the helmet at the upper crown and chin bar help to channel large amounts of cool air into the helmet while riding, cooling the top of your head as well as your face. The RPHA 1 helmet also makes use of four extraction ventilation openings; two exhausts vents at the rear and two exhausts at the side of the helmet help to draw warm, stale air out of the helmet for a complete cooling experience.

The HJC RPHA 1 helmet includes a clear outer visor as standard, which is Pinlock ready to accept an anti-mist insert. The Pinlock Max Vision insert is included with your purchase and offers maximum protection from visor misting, leaving your vision clear when riding. The visor is easily removed from the helmet with a tool free visor fastening mechanism with a twin pivot and anti pop-off visor attachment to ensure that your visor remains secured to your helmet, even if the worst occurs. This security is furthered by the dual visor lock mechanism found on the helmet, helping to lock the visor in place for greater security and a tighter seal against wind and rain penetration.

Further comfort comes in the form of a chin curtain and breath deflector, which are included as standard in the HJC RPHA 1 helmet. The chin curtain helps to reduce airflow into the bottom of the helmet for additional wind protection and noise reduction, while the breath deflector helps to limit warm air from your mouth and nose reaching the visor, helping to reduce the fogging of your visor while riding.

Within this HJC racing helmet you’ll find a Silvercool interior fabric lining. This intelligent fabric helps to keep your head cool when riding as well as possessing moisture wicking properties. This means that the RPHA 1 helmet’s interior linings help to draw moisture away from your head when riding, spreading this moisture over a larger surface area for quick evaporation within the helmet when riding. These linings are easily removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling for longer.

As an additional safety measure, the HJC RPHA 1 helmet features an emergency quick release pull tab system at the lower of the helmet, allowing the cheek pads to be removed quickly and easily by trained medical staff. This ensures that your head can be removed from within the helmet without any unnecessary pressure being transferred to your neck, an important feature which could make a significant difference in an accident scenario.

Despite the track focussed nature of the RPHA 1 helmet, you’ll also find speaker recesses built into the interior linings, allowing you to utilise your Bluetooth motorcycle intercom when riding. Additionally, the helmet features a glasses groove, meaning that the HJC RPHA 1 helmet can be easily used with eyeglasses and sunglasses when riding.

For the maximum in rider safety, the RPHA 1 features a double-D ring closure system for a precise and tailored fit every time you ride.
