This urban styled open face helmet from HJC is ideal for your urban commuting, with features designed to maximise your comfort while riding.

The HJC i40N is created in an advanced polycarbonate construction, offering a great level of protection from the outset by absorbing impact energy before it reaches your head within. The shell features aerodynamic design channels, helping air flow easily and efficiently over the helmet while riding which reduces fatigue at the neck and wind noise when travelling at speed.

At the top of this open face helmet lies a large crown vent, designed to channel the airflow effectively into the helmet, cooling your head as you ride. The full-length clear visor helps to shield your face from wind while riding or keep the rain away should you find yourself riding in inclement weather. The visor is clear and wide, offering excellent vision and doesn’t interrupt your peripheral vision.

The internal drop-down sun visor is a great addition in terms of both comfort and safety, maximising your vision when riding in sunny weather as well as making for a more enjoyable riding experience. This internal sun visor is easily operated with a simple slider found behind the visor mechanism for quick and easy operation on the go.

Within this HJC open face helmet you’ll find a technical interior fabric lining. This intelligent fabric helps to keep your head cool when riding as well as possessing moisture wicking properties. This means that the HJC i40 helmet’s interior linings help to draw moisture away from your head when riding, spreading this moisture over a larger surface area for quick evaporation within the helmet when riding. These linings are easily removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling for longer.

The interior linings also feature a glasses groove, allowing the rider to use eyeglasses and sunglasses with their HJC open face helmet easily. Finally, the i40 helmet closes with a micro buckle ratchet system for a quick and easy closure, even with thicker winter gloves.
