This HJC helmet utilises an incredibly lightweight carbon fibre composite construction, designed to provide a super strong outer shell whilst retaining a lightweight nature. The outer shell is created in three sizes, helping provide a more comfortable fit without any unnecessary padding for an optimised riding experience. This fibreglass outer shell helps to soften impact blows thanks to its superior strength as well as helping to minimise neck fatigue which is a blessing for longer distance riders. The outer shell is aerodynamic, with subtle changes from the HJC F70 helmet to further reduce air drag for a smoother and quieter ride, while generating some downforce to keep the helmet planted when riding at higher speeds.

The F71 helmet also features an enlarged eye port, helping offer greater visibility including at your peripherals for an easier and safer riding experience. This HJC helmet features a clear outer visor as standard, which has been coated with a UV protection treatment as well as an anti-scratch treatment, designed to prolong the life span of your outer visor. This visor is also Pinlock ready, with a Pinlock anti-mist insert included with your purchase, which when fitted will limit the misting of the visor when riding in cooler temperatures. The visor also offers increased vision, enhanced visor strength for greater safety and free from distortion for ultimate optical accuracy. With inspiration taken from HJC's famed RPHA series helmets, the HJC F71 features a two way pivot visor mechanism, meaning opening your visor is a smooth, friction free movement with improved sealing for less wind noise when riding at higher speeds.

The Advanced Channelling System ventilation is a blessing in warmer weather, helping to channel huge amounts of air flow through the helmet with ease. The twin upper crown vents and large capacity chin vent welcome volumes of cool air into the helmet which is effectively channelled through specifically designed ridges in the EPS foam liner, cooling your head as you ride. The warmer, stale air is able to escape from within the helmet thanks to a large capacity rear exhaust vent for a complete cooling experience.

A retractable integrated sun visor is included to further your comfort and safety by shielding your eyes from bright sunlight while riding, and is easily deployed with a sliding mechanism at the lower left of the helmet. The position of the sun visor can be adjusted to suit your needs, moving the sun visor forward towards the chin bar of the helmet. This is done via a sliding toggle hidden beneath the left hand recessed cut out and moves the visor from its default position to 5mm further forward or 10mm further forward.

The interior of the helmet features a technical fabric lining, which features an advanced antibacterial treatment and helps to provide enhanced moisture wicking functionality as well as being quick drying too. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable to help you prolong the fresh helmet feeling and includes a glasses groove to accommodate riders who wear glasses or sunglasses when riding. The HJC Emergency Kit cheek pads allow for a safer, faster removal of the helmet by the emergency services in an accident scenario, a welcomed feature in any motorcycle helmet.

This helmet is also intercom ready and features dedicated pockets within the interior liner for your intercom speakers. Whilst the helmet is optimised for HJC smart intercom's, the HJC F-71 helmet can easily accommodate a wide variety of universal motorcycle intercoms.

Finally, the HJC F-71 sports touring helmet closes with a tried and tested double D ring closure system, for a secure and reliable fit every time.
