Featuring a 600 Denier polyester outer construction, this textile motorcycle jacket retains its lightweight nature without compromising its durability. The outer material of this textile motorcycle jacket is highly abrasion resistant, coupled with the leather overlay panels at the shoulders. These panels not only further the abrasion resistant properties of the jacket but add an element of style too. CE approved armour can be found at the shoulders and elbows, cushioning the impact at these areas should the worst occur. You’ll also find a pocket for you to include a CE approved back protector should you choose to.

Beneath the jacket lies a waterproof and windproof membrane fixed into the jacket. This membrane helps you battle elements should you find yourself caught out in the worst of the weather, as well as fighting the effects of windchill. The membrane is also breathable, letting water vapour (sweat) escape from within, helping you stay fresh when your arrive at your destination. Also included with the Duchinni Journey textile jacket is a 120 gram quilted thermal lining, offering an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler climates, letting you use the jacket in all seasons without issue. This thermal lining is removable, leaving you with a lightweight summer motorcycle jacket. The thermal lining can be rolled up small and stowed away in a pannier or rucksack and easily attached should the situation call for it. The front and rear ventilation openings are a blessing in warmer climates, easily opened and closed with waterproof zippers.

The jacket closes with a large central zipper, completed by a storm flap to lock out any moisture from entering in through the central zipper when riding in wet weather. The storm flap features a segmented popper retention system, helping keep the storm flap in place, even when riding at higher speeds. The collar includes a Velcro closure, allowing you to adjust the fit and feel at the collar, adjusting for more ventilation or to accommodate a thicker neckwarmer in the winter. The collar is neoprene lined and features a brushed interior lining for maximum comfort when riding.

Velcro closures can also be found at the waist belt system, letting the rider tailor this textile motorcycle jacket to suit their body shape. The same system can also be seen at the double adjustment points at each arm, all of which allows the wearer to tighten the jacket, reducing the billowing effect that can occur when riding at increased speed. Final adjustments can be seen at the cuffs, letting you open the cuffs to accommodate gloves underneath or tighten at the wrist for gloves to go over the top. You’ll also find additional elbow stretch panelling and a hip gusset, which can be opened and closed thanks to a zipper, all aid in accommodating your body shape and additional layers which you may choose to add when the climate moves to the chillier end of the spectrum.

When it comes to storage space on the new Duchinni Journey jacket, you really are spoilt for choice! At the outer of the jacket, you’ll find two zipped pockets, as well as two handwarmer pockets, perfect for storing your gloves when you arrive at your destination. In addition to this, you’ll notice a large rear map pocket, perfect for storing maps or other important documentation when travelling. Turn your attention to the inside of the jacket and you’ll find four internal pockets, including a small Napoleon pocket. Perfect for storing your essentials like your phone, wallet, passport etc.
