Created in a 600 denier polyester outer construction, the Duchinni Hurricane jacket is naturally hardwearing and offers complete protection from the intense friction you would typically experience in an accident scenario. Beneath the outer construction lies designated pockets that are designed to house CE approved armour. The Duchinni Hurricane jacket features CE approved armour at the shoulders and elbows as standard, with a pocket provided to add a CE approved back protector should you choose to. These are available to purchase separately.

Passive protection comes in the form of reflective accent piping found at the front, rear and lengths of the arm of the Duchinni Hurricane textile jacket, offering enhanced visibility when riding in wet weather or after dark. These long length piping accents offer large areas of additional visibility without disturbing the minimalist appearance of the jacket.

Beneath the jacket lies a waterproof and windproof membrane fixed into the jacket. This membrane helps you battle elements should you find yourself caught out in the worst of the weather, as well as fighting the effects of windchill. The membrane is also breathable, letting water vapour (sweat) escape from within the jacket, helping you stay fresh ready for when you arrive at your destination. Further waterproofing protection comes in the form of a waterproof rain channel that is situated behind the central zipper, allowing any water that may permeate through the central zipper to be effortlessly channelled away before it has time to reach your base layers.

Also included with the Duchinni Hurricane textile jacket is a 120-gram quilted thermal membrane, offering an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler climates, letting you use the jacket in all seasons without issue. This thermal lining is removable, leaving you with a lightweight summer motorcycle jacket. The thermal lining can be rolled up small and stowed away in a pannier or rucksack and easily attached should the situation call for it.

A series of external adjustment points allow the rider to tailor their Duchinni Legend textile motorcycle jacket to suit their body shape. The inclusion of a Velcro adjustable waist belt along with upper and lower arm Velcro adjustment points allows the rider to fine-tune the fit of their new motorcycle jacket easily and efficiently. This can be done to accommodate any additional layers beneath the jacket or create a tighter fit to reduce the billowing effect when travelling at higher speeds.

The cuff features a zipped opening, allowing the rider to decide whether they wish their gloves to be atop or underneath the cuffs. Cast your eyes to the lower sides of the jacket and you’ll find an expansion gusset, making the Duchinni Hurricane jacket more accommodating regardless of the bike you ride. These expansion gussets can be easily opened or closed with an easy to use zipper system. Further comfort comes in the form of a neoprene trimmed collar with a brushed interior lining, a welcomed feature for longer distance riders that limits friction and irritation at this area.

With the inclusion of two external zipped pockets and four internal pockets, you're sure to have plenty of space for your essentials when out on the road.
