The Alpinestars Track V2 trousers features the same high quality 1.3mm premium leather outer construction that is shared with Alpinestars top end race suits, adding to the pedigree of these leather motorcycle trousers and your peace of mind when riding. This hardwearing outer construction makes these leather Alpinestars trousers extremely durable, easily withstanding the intense friction that you would expect to experience in a slide across the track or the road. This robust leather is dual layered at key areas to offer even greater abrasion resistance in the event of an accident.

The protection is furthered at the exterior of the trousers with the inclusion of Alpinestars Dynamic Friction Shield (DFS) knee cups, designed to offer less friction at the exterior of the knees. These exterior sliders help to keep your body moving, rather than the leather material gripping the road surface which can cause your body to turn and twist when sliding. The inclusion of exterior knee sliders with Alpinestars logo help to finish off the factory racing look and can be easily replaced when you’ve worn them out on a track day session.

Beneath the surface of these leather Alpinestars trousers lie CE approved armour fitted as standard. The inclusion of Alpinestars GP-R knee armour and Nucleon hip armour helps to limit impact energy from being transferred to the areas beneath, a welcomed feature both on the road and the track. These armour pads are easily removable from within the trousers should you wish to upgrade them further. You’ll also find a small soft density padded coccyx protector at the seat of the trouser, helping to cushion impacts felt at this important area.

Despite the amount of protection on offer, Alpinestars have worked to maximise the comfort of the Track V2 leather pants to make your riding a more enjoyable experience. The legs of these leather motorcycle trousers are pre-curved, designed to improve comfort from an ergonomic standpoint by reducing the level of fatigue felt at the legs and knees when riding for longer periods. You’ll also find the inclusion of accordion stretch panelling at the knees and lower back, included to promote greater movement by allowing the leather outer material to stretch when leaning off the side of the bike, and greater comfort when riding in a tucked position when zipped into a compatible Alpinestars jacket.

The comfort is furthered still with the inclusion of a four way stretch fabric material, which can be seen at the calves and groin of these leather motorcycle trousers. This material helps additional movement within the trousers as well as getting the trousers on and off. You’ll also find an expansion zipper at the back of the calf, which offers additional comfort to those with larger calf muscles.

The inclusion of perforated panel ventilation areas at the front of the trouser help to maximise airflow into the trousers when riding, a welcomed feature for those sunny days on the track. Additionally, the mesh interior comfort lining helps to promote flow of the incoming air around the trousers and limit the leather material from sticking to your skin when riding.
