The culmination of decades of experience and racing pedigree, the Alpinestars Supertech-R boots are a staple in any racing paddock, offering incredible protection from impacts and abrasion, while remaining incredibly comfortable for your everyday street riding.

The outer construction of these Alpinestars racing boots is a microfibre material. This entails using multiple tightly woven strands of high strength fibres and weaving them into a material which mirrors its leather counterparts, without any of the imperfections that can occur with using a natural material. The result is a highly abrasion resistant outer construction that can easily withstand the intense abrasion that may be experience in a slide across the track surface.

This microfibre material also features at the inner side of the boot in the form of a synthetic microfibre, with a material feel akin to that of traditional suede. This material is also highly abrasion resistant but improves feedback through the boots to the rider from the bike, limits the chances of the boots scratching the paintwork of your bike and acts as a grippy contact surface for greater riding confidence. A microfibre top gaiter helps to grip the boots at the surface of your leather suit or trousers for a great seal at this area, without disturbing the fit of freedom of movement within the boots.

Protection from impacts is essential in a high spec racing boot, and the Alpinestars Supertech R boots has protection in abundance. TPU exterior protective elements are immediately noticeable at the shin plate, designed to limit energy transferal to your shins beneath in the event of an accident. Uniquely, the Alpinestars Supertech-R boots feature a shin slider too, limiting the chance of the boots gripping and twisting when they make contact with the road surface.

The TPU protection continues in the form of combination TPU and aluminium toe slider and heel, designed to slide easily across the surface of the and further limit the gripping of the Super-tech R boots on the road surface.

The front facing ventilation openings on the Alpinestars Supertech-R boots are perfect for channelling large volumes of cool air into the boot while riding. These perforated areas are created with relief cuts so as not to intrude on the comfort factor of the boots, while improving your riding comfort by keeping your feet cool as you ride. Twin exhaust ventilation areas found at the rear of the boot allow some of the warmer air that builds up within the boot to escape, offering a more dynamic cooling experience.

The low-profile gear pad makes gear changes effortless, with a moulded shape incorporated into the pad's design for improved grip. The low-profile sole also helps to provide greater feedback from the bike to the rider via the foot pegs, perfect for a racing boot.

Within the Alpinestars Supertech boots lies an innovative inner boot, which increases the riders safety even further. The interior boots feature a tightly knitted weave for additional strength while remaining breathable for greater comfort. These inner boots feature a hardened toe and heel, as well as double-hinged ankle braces to prevent the ankle from moving in an unnatural way which may cause injury to the muscles at the ankle or a breakage at the ankle bones.

These interior boots fastening with a quick lace system, which the rider can the wrap around the top of the boot and secure with a simple Velcro tab at the top of the inner boot. From here, the rider can open the exterior Supertech-R boot using the traditional zipper, which utilises an accordion stretch panel for greater ease when take the boots on and off. You’ll also find a micro adjustable ratchet strap at the top of the boot, allowing the rider to tailor the fit and feel of these Alpinestars boots to suit the width of their calves.
