Perfect for your street riding with the built in protection to make them suitable for the track, the Alpinestars SMX-6 V2 boots are a great all round boot for sports bike and naked bike riders.

The SMX-6 V2 boots have a more ergonomic styling that it’s predecessor, offering even greater comfort both on the bike and off it. The outer construction of these Alpinestars sports boots is a microfibre material. This entails using multiple tightly woven strands of high strength fibres and weaving them into a material which mirrors its leather counterparts, without any of the imperfections that can occur with using a natural material such a leather. The result is a highly abrasion resistant outer construction that can easily withstand the intense abrasion that may be experienced in a slide across the road surface.

A wealth of TPU protective padding and shields help to further the protective elements within the SM6 V2 boots. A TPU shin guard helps to cushion impacts felt at the shin, and curves around the side of the calf for further abrasion resistance too. This extends further to a purposefully designed TPU calf brace along with the TPU toe and heel sliders, which help the foot to slide in the event of an accident and limit the grip and twist effect when the microfibre meets the road surface.

An innovative TPU exterior ankle brace at the outside leg has a primary function of reducing the lateral movement of the leg, reducing the chances of damage being done to your ankle through unnatural movement. The secondary feature is that this TPU also acts as a slider to offer even greater abrasion resistance in a key area.

Behind the heel and toe are reinforced areas, maximising the strength of the boots at these key impact areas. The interior material within these Alpinestars boots is a breathable textile, designed to promote comfort when riding for a more enjoyable riding experience. You’ll also find a removable footbed within the boots, which is anatomically designed to support your arches when riding and walking around off the bike.

A lower profile gear change pad helps make gear changes much simpler, and features a geometric pattern for improved grip, even if you get caught out in the worst of the weather. The sole of the Alpinestars SMX-6 V2 boots features different cuts and shapes in its design to offer great grip, comfort and performance at all times. This sole is created in a compound rubber, absorbing vibration but also providing excellent feedback to the rider in track-based scenarios.

The Alpinestars SMX-6 Boots feature a traditional zipped entry with a Velcro wing cover to maximise protection for your bike. There is also a small piece of four-way stretch material woven at the zipped area, which is more forgiving for those who usually struggle getting their boots on and off.
