The Alpinestars Mustang V2 gloves feature a supple yet very sturdy full grain leather outer construction, offering a great amount of abrasion resistance. This abrasion resistant construction makes for the perfect outer material for a motorcycle glove, whilst retaining a level of comfort that makes your everyday riding a much more enjoyable experience.

This level of protection is furthered still with synthetic suede overlays at key areas on the Mustang gloves, designed to take the abrasion resistance to the next level, a well-considered feature by Alpinestars. These key areas also feature double stitching, maximising the strength of these leather Alpinestars gloves by minimising the risk of seam failure if subjected to intense friction.

Protection from the impacts that you may experience in an accident scenario is essential in any motorcycle glove, and something which the Alpinestars Mustang V2 gloves execute very well. A TPU knuckle protector at the back of the hand helps to eliminate some of the impact energy that can be experienced at the back of the hand. This knuckle protector is ergonomically shaped and is designed to cushion different and repeated impacts for maximum protection. The beautiful thing about the Mustang V2 gloves is that this hard knuckle protection features a matching full grain leather overlay for a clean and integrated look.

Soft density padding found around the Alpinestars Mustang leather gloves help to further reduce the impact energy transferral without sacrificing the comfort within the gloves. These soft density insert can be found at the back of the fingers, and the lower palm, maximising your safety in the event of an accident. An advanced polyfabric material at the palm provides additional grip at the handlebars, as well as preventing premature wear at this area.

The fingers of these Alpinestars gloves are also pre-curved, helping to reduce the fatigue felt at the hand when travelling over longer distance. Accordion stretch panelling at the control fingers furthers the comfort aspect, maximising the range of movement when reaching for the brake and clutch levers on your motorcycle. Additional accordion stretch panelling can be found at the back and side of the glove for even greater comfort when riding.

Perforated areas at the fingers and cuff of this Alpinestars glove help to channel cool air into the glove, cooling your hands as you ride, a welcomed feature for summer riders. These perforated areas feature at the back of the hand, the length of the back of the fingers and the interior fingers for even greater cool air transferral.

For greater convenience when out on the road, a touch sensitive material at the tips of the index fingers and thumbs makes using your GPS navigation device possible, without the need to remove the gloves.

A Velcro cuff closure offers a simple yet reliable fastening point, ensuring that the glove and all the protective elements that are incorporated into the glove remain in the right place when they are needed most.
