CE Certified to a AAA standard (the highest possible attainable standard for motorcycle clothing), the Alpinestars Missile V2 Suit is created in a hardwearing premium bovine leather outer construction for the very best in strength and abrasion resistance. A suit of this calibre needs to withstand the intense friction that you might occur when sliding across tarmac on a track day, and the Alpinestars Missile Suit handles this abrasion with ease. Further abrasion resistance comes in the form of dual layer leather at the interior of the suit, helping to strengthen the suit and increase performance.

Protection from impacts comes in the form of CE approved armour at the shoulders, elbows and knees of the Missile V2 Suit, as well as Alpinestars Bio-Flex hip armour, designed to help limit the transferal of impact energy into the suit at these key areas. You’ll also find the addition of exterior DFS (Dynamic Friction Shield) shoulder, elbow and knee armour, which help to create a lower friction point at these areas to keep your body moving in the event of a slide. This reduces the risk of the leather material gripping the road surface in these areas and twisting your body, which can result in further injuries. You’ll also find a snap buckle at the interior for the addition of a Nucleon Race back protector and space for the addition of Nucleon chest protectors, should you wish to add these items to your new Alpinestars Missile V2 Suit. Additionally, soft density impact cushions at the chest and biceps help to alleviate some of the impact energy from these secondary areas to increase your protection and decrease your recovery time.

Whether you’re tackling tough turns on a track day or simply enjoying a sunny Sunday ride to the coast, your leather motorcycle suit needs to be comfortable for use over longer periods. Alpinestars have worked hard to improve the ergonomics of the Missile Suit, to maximise the comfort when riding and racing. Large accordion stretch panelling areas offer an increased range of movement within the suit, despite the heavy-duty outer construction. These stretch areas help to maximise movement within the suit when riding, but easily spring back into place and are made from the same premium cowhide leather construction to help maximise the abrasion resistant properties of the suit.

Additional comforts on the Alpinestars Missile Suit come in the form of the High Resistant Stretch Fabric (HRSF) material, which help to maximise the fit and feel of the suit for even greater luxury when riding. This material can be found at the shoulder, inner sleeve, groin and calf areas and remains as strong as it is flexible, meaning that the overall strength of the garment isn’t sacrificed for comfort. The inclusion of perforated ventilation openings on the suit help to channel cool air into the Missile V2 suit when riding, a welcomed feature for summer riders!

The addition of a soft feel material at the cuffs and the collar of the Alpinestars Missile V2 Suit help to further the comfort of the suit when riding for extended periods of time. A similar textile material also makes up part of the aerodynamic race hump at the rear of the suit, helping reduce the weight on the back with a hybrid construction as opposed to a complete leather construction.
