The J-6 boots are created in a full grain leather with additional suede panelling woven into the construction, making the Alpinestars J6 boots appear as nothing more than a fashionable, casual trainer. However, this hardwearing leather outer construction is designed to stand up to the intense friction that may occur in an accident scenario, leaving you safe in the knowledge that your feet are protected should the worst occur.

The stitching found on the Alpinestars J6 Riding Shoe is double stitched for increased strength at the seams, maximising the strength of these urban riding boots by minimising the chances of a seam blowout when subjected to heavy abrasion.

Interior reinforcements at the heel and toe ensure that the shape of the boots does not change at these key areas in an accident scenario. You’ll also find an anti-twist reinforced midsole which offers greater support at the midsole area than a standard trainer, but still allows the Alpinestars J6 Boots to feel very comfortable to walk around in.

In the UK, we know that the weather can change in a moment. Despite the casual appearance of the J6 boots, they feature a breathable waterproof membrane which means that you won’t have to pull over when a sudden shower disturbs your ride. This microporous membrane features very small perforations designed to prevent water entry into the boots, but allow warm air and water vapour (sweat) to escape from within. This leaves your feet fresh and dry when you reach your destination, wherever the road might take you.
