This outer material is naturally hardwearing and easily withstands the intense friction that you may experience in a slide across tarmac. This abrasion protection is matched with Alpinestars Nucleon Flex armour at the shoulders and elbows to help reduce the transfer of impact energy to the areas beneath. You’ll also provision for Alpinestars back protectors within the jacket should you wish to upgrade the safety features of the Alpinestars Faster jacket.

Despite being heavily protective, the Alpinestars Faster V2 Leather Jacket is remarkably comfortable. The inclusion of the poly-fabric stretch material found at the shoulder and length of the inner arms makes getting the jacket on and off easy and helps to accommodate a range of body shapes for a slim, figure flattering fit for many riders. This stretch fabric extends to the rear shoulder area of the jacket and ensures that the hardwearing leather outer material doesn’t interfere with the natural range of movement for a comfortable riding experience.

At the upper arms, you’ll find two ventilation openings designed to capture and channel cool air into the jacket when riding, a welcomed feature for summer riders. These ventilation openings are easily opened and closed with a familiar zipper system for quick, on-the-go adjustments to your Alpinestars leather jacket. Small, perforated areas at the rear of the jacket allow warm air to escape from within the jacket, maximising the cooling. Additionally, a mesh interior lining permits the air to circulate within the jacket to help cool you when riding in warmer climates.

An adjustment belt with a simple Velcro fastening allows the rider to tailor the Alpinestars Faster V2 Jacket to suit their body shape, or to accommodate additional layers underneath the jacket when riding in the cooler months of the year. You’ll also find a soft feel material at the collar of this Alpinestars leather jacket, maximising the comfort by minimising the irritation at this sensitive area.
