The outer construction of these Alpinestars riding shoes is a microfibre material. This entails using multiple tightly woven strands of high strength fibres and weaving them into a material which mirrors its leather counterparts, without any of the imperfections that can occur with using a natural material such a leather. The result is a highly abrasion resistant outer construction that can easily withstand the intense friction that may be experienced in a slide across the road surface.

Paired with the microfibre outer construction is the use of Alpinestars Rideknit material. This textile material is incredibly lightweight, very flexible and highly breathable, making it perfect for use in a summer motorcycle boot. The knitted fabric is perfectly suited to your summer riding, channelling cool air into the boots when riding, which is then circulated throughout the boot thanks to a 3D mesh interior lining.

The stitching found on the Alpinestars Faster 3 Rideknit is double stitched for increased strength at the seams, maximising the strength of these urban riding boots should the worst occur. Other stitching, such as that found at the TPR heel cup and its accompanying lateral support, is recessed into the TPR to minimise it ever contacting the road surface in the first place.

Other TPR can be seen at the outer toe, designed more in stop the road surface from wearing through the toe of the boot in an accident, rather than letting you slip across the surface when cornering aggressively. Interior reinforcements at the heel and toe ensure that the shape of the boots does not change at these key areas in an accident scenario.

The padded tongue and collar of the Faster 3 Rideknit boots help to offer additional comfort when riding and walking around at your chosen destination, as well as soaking up some of the impact energy if the worst occurs. A compound rubber sole provides excellent grip on the pegs and is supported by a removable EVA foam footbed within the Faster 3 boots, providing additional support for your arches when riding.

Finally, the Alpinestars Faster 3 Boots feature a traditional laced closure with an adjustable Velcro snap belt to help keep your laces away from any moving parts on your motorcycle.
