Your urban riding adventures have just been taken to another level! The Alpinestars Fastback 2 Drystar Boots feature a hardwearing outer construction, built in TPR protection and wet weather protection too!

A hybrid leather and microfibre outer construction offers an incredible amount of abrasion resistance in accident scenarios, while reducing the overall weight of the boot. Additionally, this hardwearing outer construction is double stitched in key areas for improved strength at the seams, minimising the risk of seam failure if subjected to a slide across the road surface.

A host of TPR protective elements help to keep your feet and ankles safe within the Fastback Boots when riding. TPR exterior shields at the outer ankle and toes help to reduce the transferal of impact energy at these key areas, limiting the damage done to your feet in an accident scenario. Interior reinforcements at the heel and toe ensure that the shape of the boots does not change at these key areas in an accident scenario.

Alpinestars have utilised their primary waterproofing technology in these boots. The Drystar membrane is microporous and features a vast amount of very small holes, small enough that water droplets cannot permeate through but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the boots. Regardless of where the road takes you, you'll be safe from the worst of the weather and feeling fresh at the feet when you arrive.

Despite the protective elements, the Alpinestars Fastback 2 Drystar Boots are incredibly comfortable and well suited to your urban riding. The mesh interior lining is not only brilliantly plush and supportive, but also allows air to circulate feely within the boots. This lining is also moisture wicking, pulling moisture away from your feet and spreading it over a larger surface area for quick evaporation. The padded tongue and heel areas help further the comfort and soak up some of the impact energy experience in an accident.

A low-profile gear change pad offers unintrusive shifting, and features a geometric shape pattern for more positive gear changes. A compound rubber sole provides excellent grip on the pegs and feature a shank reinforcement for providing additional support when riding and ensuring that the boots cannot twist in an unnatural way in the event of an accident.

Finally, the Alpinestars Fastback 2 Drystar Boots feature a traditional laced closure with an adjustable Velcro snap belt to help keep your laces away from any moving parts on your motorcycle.
