Now in its third incarnation, the Alpinestars Andes Drystar V3 Textile Jacket is perfect for your commuting and touring needs, offering protection from abrasion, impacts and the elements wherever your ride may take you.

The use of an advanced polyfabric helps to keep this Alpinestars textile jacket light and comfortable, with additional textile overlays at key areas to help improve the overall strength and abrasion resistance of the jacket. This leaves you safe in the knowledge that if you should find yourself sliding across the road surface, the Alpinestars Andes V3 Jacket will keep you skin safe.

Additional protection comes in the form of Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Plus armour found at the shoulders and elbows of this textile jacket as standard. You’ll also find provision for Alpinestars back protectors and chest protectors within the jacket, should you wish to upgrade the safety features of the Andes V3 jacket.

The Alpinestars Andes Jacket is also compatible with the latest Alpinestars Tech-Air 5 airbag system, maximising you protection both on the road and on the track. This airbag system easily attaches to the inside of your Andes V3 jacket and is designed to work with your jacket to offer the maximum protection possible.

Passive protection comes in the form of the reflective detailing and logos throughout the jacket, offering increased visibility when riding in low light conditions without disturbing the minimalist appearance of this Alpinestars Textile Jacket.

Protection from the elements is a key feature in any textile touring motorcycle jacket, which is why the Alpinestars Andes V3 Jacket utilises Alpinestars Drystar waterproof breathable membrane, designed to shut out any precipitation from permeating past your base layers while remaining breathable enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the jacket while riding. You’ll also find a full-length thermal lining within the jacket, helping to provide additional insulation when riding in cooler climates.

Touring riding can take a toll on any rider, particularly when riding in warmer climates. The inclusion of two front facing vents with press stud retention straps help to channel large amounts of cool air into the jacket while riding. These ventilation areas can be opened and closed with a simple zipper system, and two zipped exhaust ventilation points at the rear of the jacket help warm air to escape from within for a complete cooling experience.

Multiple adjustment opportunities around the jacket help the rider tailor their new Alpinestars Textile Jacket to suit their body shape. A press stud bicep adjustment strap and Velcro forearm adjustment help to tailor the fit of the arms, while a Velcro fastening belt at the waist lets the rider cinch the waist of the jacket to their body for a more figure flattering fit that helps to eliminate the billowing that can occur when travelling at higher speeds. These adjustment points can also be used to help accommodate any additional layers that you may be wearing underneath the jacket when riding in cooler weather.
