An ideal companion to your sport touring adventures, the Airoh Matryx helmet features an aggressive, sports styled design that compliments any sports touring machine, while delivering a host of features that make your riding easier, whether you're commuting to work or touring across countries.

This Airoh helmet features a highly aerodynamic profile, and this isn't by accident. Airoh not only wind tunnel test their helmets, but wind tunnel develop them too in order to improve on three key aspects: thermodynamics, aerodynamics and acoustics. The result is an Airoh helmet that is designed with intention to be quieter, more stable and optimally vented for a more enjoyable riding experience.

The Airoh Matryx helmet features a High Performance Composite (HPC) fibreglass construction, delivering optimal strength and safety without adding drastically to the overall weight of the helmet. In fact, this Airoh helmet weighs a mere 1,500g (+/-50g), maximising your long distance comfort when riding by reducing fatigue at the neck while riding. This outer shell is available in two shell sizes, delivering a better fit without the use of unnecessary padding in smaller sizes.

A clear outer visor is provided as standard with this Airoh helmet, which has been treated with an anti-scratch and UV-resistant treatment in order to extend the life of the visor and offer additional protection to the rider. This outer visor is also Pinlock prepared and ready to accept a Pinlock anti-mist insert, which is included with your purchase. The Pinlock anti-mist insert provided with the Airoh Matryx helmet is a Pinlock 120 XLT insert. This insert is the highest quality possible, delivering the greatest fog resistance available as well as being clearer and delivering higher light transmission that a traditional anti-mist insert lens.

The visor aperture is extra wide on this Airoh helmet, offering greater peripheral vision for increased rider safety. This visor is easy to remove thanks to the ATVR (Airoh Tool-less Visor Removal) design, which makes cleaning your visor easier. The visor locks in place at the centre and is opened with a small button to release the visor closure. This is part of the A3S (Airoh Automatic Anti-fog System), which channels a greater amount of airflow against the visor to aid in demisting as well as keeping your face cool as you ride. In addition to this, the Airoh Matryx helmet features multiple intake and exhaust vents which effectively distribute cool air into the helmet as well as allowing the warmer, stale air to escape from within the helmet while riding. A retractable interior sun visor not only aids in rider comfort but also safety, providing fast and effective relief from sun glare when riding.

The interior of the Airoh Matryx helmet offers even greater comfort for the rider, which features a Coolmax interior lining. Coolmax is a carefully engineered fabric which delivers incredible moisture-wicking and breathability, drawing moisture away from your head and face for quick evaporation through the dedicated ventilation system. This lining is also sanitised and hypoallergenic, keeping the linings feeling fresher for longer. If you do need to refresh your Airoh Matryx helmet's interior linings, they are removable and washable. Two Wheel Centre recommends hand washing your helmet linings and allowing them to dry naturally to avoid damage of distortion to your linings.

The upper crown of the Airoh Matryx helmet utilises Airoh's ASN (Airoh Safety Net) technology, a 3-D fabric structure designed to reduce the force transferred to the head on impact. Additionally, the AEFR (Airoh Emergency Fast Release) system allows a quick removal of the cheek pads in emergency situations. A red strap on the lower part of the cheek pad allows the medical staff to remove them with the helmet still on. This allows the rescuers to free your head from the helmet while reducing any further trauma, injury or damage.
